Where there are eight dungeons and probably dozens of hidden entrances everywhere. LoZ? Ah yes let me draw a comparison to a 2d game where 20 of the screens are nearly identical. I think the most you'd have to do to make it realistic is put actual street signs up to mark the way. This is like five city blocks where most streets are blocked off and a short jog into town while the neighbors hassle you. This isn't Daggerfall where everything is procedurally generated, nothing makes sense, and dungeons just go into infinity. You wouldn't last a day in 1999 if this is the kind of map that would cause you trouble. Now if we talk about bugs and crashes we would make OP flee this game so let's not. I find it funny that in 2023 some people can't make a map but in Mario Maker 2 they can make a mini map like in the first Zelda, that shows the devs aren't very serious. We are in 20, if you have to write down what to do and make your own map because devs can't do one that's a big issue, the only genre where it's acceptable is a dungeon crawler.Īt this point it's better to just follow a guide but that's not fun, I wish they would work on their game rather than just make skins. The city only has like, five doors you can actually knock on to get anything done at all and they're all located far apart from each other so idk, write it down or something if you can't remember the difference. Every path is basically a straight shot towards where it's going, with only a couple zones actually having the shortcut system of Dark Souls (with the unlockable paths behind gates and such) and the rest more or less being a straight line with some side rooms.
